  62.       OPERATION [BLANKED] is a TOP SECRET Research and Development/ 
  63.       Intelligence operation responsible directly and only to the 
  64.       President of the United States.  Operations of the project are 
  65.       carried out under the control of the [  BLANKED  ] Group 
  66.       which was established by special classified executive order of  
  67.       President Truman on 24 September, 1947, upon recommendation by 
  68.       Dr. Vannevar Bush and Secretary James Forrestal.  (See Attachment 
  69.       "A".)  Members of the [  BLANKED  ] Group were designated as follows:
